36,000 Pounds of Nuggets Get Recalled

Do your chicken nuggets taste like rubber? They may be just that. Tyson Foods is recalling 36,420 pounds of white meat panko chicken nuggets. Federal officials are urging consumers to dump any packages produced on November 26, 2018. The contaminated 5-pound packs have a use-by date of November 26, 2019, a case code of “3308SDL03”, and “P-13556” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Tyson received consumer complaints about “extraneous material, specifically rubber” in the product. The Food Safety and Inspection Services was alerted Tuesday.

For any questions regarding the recall, contact Tyson Consumer Relations at (888) 747-7611.
