Toyota Builds A Lunar Rover

Toyota teamed up with Japan’s space agency, JAXA, to build a fuel cell-powered electric lunar rover to operate in space by 2029. Imagine taking your vacation on the Moon.

The 20 feet long vehicle will be made to shuttle two people (without spacesuits) and travel 6,200 miles across the moon’s surface. While it’s still in the conceptual stage, it will pave the way for fuel cell technology to power electric cars (instead of battery).
