McDonald’s signed an agreement to acquire Dynamic Yield, a tech company of the AI-powered Personalization Anywhere platform. Price tag? $300 mill.
The fast-food giant plans to revolutionize its drive-thru menu experience to be tailored to the weather, restaurant traffic, and trending items. It also intends to incorporate the new tech into other digital products, like self-serve kiosks and the mobile app.
The U.S. rollout will take place in 2019, then move to international markets.
