Yesterday, Disney announced its streaming service, Disney+, launches November 12th at $6.99 per month ($69.99 per year). The app functions similar to Netflix by offering individual profiles and greeting users with recommended content, new TV series or movies added, and genres. Uniquely, there are five hubs at the top that bring users to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. All content is downloadable with 4K HDR quality on TVs.
What to expect:
- New Marvel series, such as Falcon and Winter Soldier, etc.
- Disney’s vault program ends.
- Disney+ launching with 500 Disney library films and 7,000 Disney TV episodes.
