Mark Zuckerberg’s Safety Cost Facebook $22 Million

Mark Zuckerberg’s total security compensation for 2018 was almost $22.6 million, up $13.5 million from the previous year. On Friday, a Securities and Exchange Commission filing revealed Facebook’s CEO paid $10 million through a pre-tax allowance “to cover additional costs related to his and his family’s personal security” for 2018. Furthermore, nearly $2.6 million went to Zuckerberg’s private aircraft use, considered as part of his security.
